About this role

As our AI advocate and researcher you will have a unique role within Xillio. You will be our main source of knowledge and expertise when it comes to AI. As part of your job you will be immersed in all aspects of Xillio and search for opportunities where AI can deliver benefits to the work processes that are integral to the company. By working closely with the development team, the consultants and the marketing team you will be able to propose and prototype innovative ideas to further automate and improve the workflow at Xillio. What you’ll bring to be successful

• You are currently pursuing a degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have a solid understanding of AI concepts and technologies and are up to date as to all the latest developments in the field of AI
• You have excellent business sense
• You have excellent requirements engineering skills
• You will have the technical knowledge to work with the development team to create and implement prototypes and solutions related to AI.
• Experience or familiarity with NodeJs and/or typescript is a pre
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are creative and can take initiative in bringing forth and executing new ideas and solutions
• You’re a fast learner with the ability to dive into new concepts and opportunities
• You are a person able to multitask and have excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
• Fluent in English and based in The Netherlands

What will be your contribution and responsibilities?

• Dive deep into the various departments and workflows of the company to understand existing processes and pain points.
• Identify areas where AI technologies can be applied to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation.
• Collaborate with different teams to map out potential applications of AI, considering both short-term optimizations and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay on top of the latest developments in AI and related technologies.
• Act as the main point of contact for AI-related knowledge within the company.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business units, to implement AI solutions.
• Foster a culture of AI awareness and enthusiasm within the organization.
• Develop prototypes or proofs of concept to demonstrate the feasibility and potential impact of AI solutions.
• Conduct experiments to assess the effectiveness of AI applications in different business scenarios.
