Job Description

As a Junior Software Engineer at Netcompany, you will play a crucial role in translating customer needs into tailored technical solutions. We use technology that is suitable for the project and the client. Therefore, it's important that you enjoy working with new, varied areas, and technologies to continuously expand your knowledge. Much of our projects are based on web-based technologies such as Angular or React and Java or C# on a Java or .NET platform. Additionally, we work with many standard platforms from companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Snowflake, Guidewire, etc.

As a Junior Software Engineer at Netcompany, you will participate in the full spectrum of system development, with a strong emphasis on technical tasks. Your tasks and responsibilities will vary from project to project and will evolve over time, but your daily life will typically be characterized by tasks such as:

  • Daily intensive collaboration with your team to not only deliver high-quality work yourself but also collectively ensure it.
  • Setting up and further implementing frameworks and integrations with external systems.
  • Implementing functionalities in the user interface.
  • Configuring and developing extensions of our standard platforms.
  • Automating business processes by intelligently utilizing technology.
  • Creating tools and scripts for seamless migration of large amounts of data.

You will be an integral part of a diverse team of professionals with different backgrounds and competencies. Requirements

We are looking for individuals with the following skills and competencies: - Master's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, etc.). - Analytical and logical thinking combined with a strong motivation to solve problems. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Fluent in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken. - Become Part of Our Inclusive Community - At Netcompany, we actively promote an open and inclusive work culture based on collaboration and trust, where there is always room for valuable discussions and support.

  • Depending on your work experience, a gross monthly salary between €3,100 and €3,180 based on a full-time position.
  • 25 vacation days based on a full-time position.
  • 8% holiday pay.
  • Additionally, we offer a bike plan and you have the option to subscribe to a sports membership at a discount via Netcompany.
  • 100% reimbursement of travel expenses based on public transport. If you come by car, you will receive €0.23 per kilometer up to 40 km one way.
  • A pension scheme where Netcompany covers 2/3 of the premium.
