Graduate FPGA Engineer

Flow Traders is looking for a Graduate FPGA Engineer to join our growing Product Development team in Amsterdam. As an FPGA graduate engineer, you will join a small team developing Flow Traders' ultra low latency applications. Over the course of one year you will get a chance to benchmark our systems, build regression and automation tools and contribute to the development of our ultra-low latency trading systems. Throughout the program, you will receive continuous support from your dedicated mentor, not only in the field of technology, but also in the area of personal development.

What you will do

• Work in a team of FPGA hardware and software developers striving to build scalable ultra-low latency trading systems; • Contribute to the development of productivity tools and improvement of the RTL design flow; • Stay up to date on latest hardware developments and open source projects; • Attend software development classes; • Build your skills in the finance industry and grow as an FPGA Engineer. What you will need • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subject; • Experience with SystemVerilog/Verilog; • Experience with networking stack (Ethernet/IP/TCP/UDP); • Experience with Linux and git; • Proficiency with scripting languages, preferably Python; • An open, collaborative, self-critical attitude and willingness to learn; • Eagerness to learn and broaden one's skill set is a must, also outside your department; • Fluent in English; • Based in Europe at the time of the recruitment process.
