About this role

You’ll be part of a Scrum team that continuously strives to improve on our products and delivery process. Experimentation, automation, and freedom are in our DNA. Automate builds, tests, releases, and documentation are important to us as we are not fans of repetitive tasks. Allowing your creativity and quality delivery skills to thrive.

You will build, work and integrate with complex systems. Prototyping and proof-of-concept projects will also be part of your job. You will work on developing our own Xillio products which may include external system investigation and integration.

What you’ll bring to be successful

• You will have a bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant working experience.
• You have worked with NodeJS or Typescript or are willing to learn it.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology.
• Understanding HTML, CSS.
• Experience in CI and CD.
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing tools, such as Selenium or TestCafe.
• Understanding software design patterns and best practices
• Agile (Scrum) software development experience
• Experience with version control tools specifically Git and GitHub
• You’re a fast learner with the ability to dive into other code and architecture
• You are a person able to multitask and have effective written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English and based in The Netherlands

What will be your contribution?

• Write clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
• Conduct various tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, software.
• Log and document errors in the tracking system.
• Identify specific cases that should be automated
• Develop the best automation solutions based on the requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow.
• Take part in brainstorms to come up with new ideas and designs that improve existing features.
• Assist in developing features and take part in peer reviews.
