Emergency Call: The Cambridge Bar Will Close Without You!

Over the past year, the board has worked hard for the Cambridgebar and has put significant effort into finding a new board. Despite receiving several great applications, we are still short on new board members!

The current board has already been in place longer than planned, and we are busy with our studies and jobs as well. This means we cannot wait much longer for new applications before we may have to consider closing the bar… Unfortunately, we seriously need to take this into account now, so time is running out!

The Cambridgebar is a very accessible place for everyone, from Dutch to internationals, and from students to working professionals. If the bar were to close, Utrecht Science Park would lose a wonderful place for people to come together, as well as a community of dedicated volunteers.

So, this is the final call: if you are interested in joining the board and want to help out the bar, please reach out to us! If you have any questions or doubts, let’s talk about what you could contribute to the Cambridgebar. There are more possibilities than you might think! We’d love to brainstorm with you on how you can get involved in a way that works for everyone.
