When does RPA become Intelligent Automation? Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is a technique used for automating business processes, using 'software robots'. It aims to automate the steps one would normally go through manually through the interface. RPA works by mimicking the manual process.

The term 'robot' refers to the idea that the software performs processes as a human would. This means that we can speak of virtual employees. For example, the software robots can click buttons, write information in text fields and open, read and edit files. A robot has its own (virtual) workstation and can only perform one process at a time. RPA is considered a growing market by Gartner/Forrester, and Microsoft & Avanade are growing along with it. Since the acquisition of Softmotive itself, Microsoft now has a mature solution.

Within Avanade, RPA is an offering under the name Intelligent Automation. To be of optimal value and relieve users of the burden, the bots themselves must be able to make decisions that go beyond completely pre-described scenarios. Set up a plan to make RPA even more intelligent and look at: What's in the market now? What will be possible in the future with Intelligent Automation (IA)? How can we market that?

We are looking for you because… - You are a 4th year HBO student or a WO master student looking for an instructive & challenging graduation internship as of September 1, 2022; - You are interested in IT consultancy and would like to experience the atmosphere in the workplace; - You are interested in the latest Microsoft technology and programming; - You may already have some experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Azure, Machine Learning or Text Recognition; - You have good communication skills in both Dutch and English; - You are motivated to set up a good graduation research, you work proactively and independently and you like to meet new people!
