There are different groups of students who (together with teachers) try to ensure the quality of the education at the University of Utrecht. These are:

• The Department Advisory Committee (DAC) representative advisory board of the department of Information and Computer Sciences. The DAC advises on policy issues and changes that the departmental board wants to implement.
• The Studenten Overleg Departement Informatica (SODI) is a student consultation body where all EACs, the departmental board, the DAC, the faculty council and Sticky meet. This is how contact is established between these different bodies within the UU in order to keep each other informed. The SODI also organizes activities for students where feedback about the programs is collected.

There are also six different education advisory committees. The EACs collect feedback from students about their respective programs:

• Education advisory committee (EAC) Bachelor Information Science
• Education advisory committee (EAC) Master Artificial Intelligence
• Education advisory committee (EAC) Master Computing Sciences
• Education advisory committee (EAC) Master Applied Data Science
• Education advisory committee (EAC) Master Information Sciences
