We are extremely proud to announce that one of the teachers nominated by Sticky has been nominated for the 2026 Teacher Award. Jeroen Ooge was selected by the jury from among 16 nominated teachers as one of three teachers who will compete for the Teacher Award in the Teacher Talent category. After two years without any nominations, this is the second time in Sticky's history that a teacher nominated by Sticky has made it through the first round.

A total of 33 teachers were nominated by study associations this year. Sticky nominated Lennart Herlaar to the jury for the regular Teacher Award. Unfortunately, he was not selected as one of the top three from the 17 entries in this category.

The winners of the teaching award will be announced at the Utrecht University Education Festival, which will take place on March 5th.
