Come join us at the webinar about Fraud & Data, given by one of our alumni!

If an unspecified recent pandemic has shown us one thing, it's how far we've come in being able to live our lives online throughout the past 20 years or so. We have meetings on Teams, order clothes on, and binge series on Netflix. This shift towards the web is convenient for honest, hard-working people, but sadly the less conscientious among us have discovered its possibilities as well. The result is large-scale online crime; something your friendly neighbourhood internet giants are anxious to oppose.

As data analyst for the Fraud & Risk team at, I’ve learned a thing or two about how data skills can be employed to fight online crime. I’ll offer a perspective on why data is important, why domain knowledge is even more important, and why an adversarial domain is the coolest environment to be working in.
