Examples of Completed Projects
HiX PromptHub – Centralized AI Prompting & Management
For this project, a centralized Prompting module was developed within HiX, making Large Language Models available for medical workflows in a secure and manageable way.
Prompts can be centrally maintained and enriched with data from patient medical records. The prompts are easily accessible by other HiX features through a standardized API, allowing seamless integration throughout various parts of HiX.
Once deployed, all prompt calls and generated results are automatically logged to display usage statistics and user ratings per prompt version. Finally, an extra pre-processing layer was added to handle prompt formatting and anonymize confidential data.
Smart Work Distributor for Radiologists
Radiologists process dozens of imaging studies daily, but the workload varies significantly by study type. An intern interviewed radiologists and developed an engine that automatically ensures a fair workload distribution based on complexity and available information.
The solution was built fully modular using a test-driven development approach and the flow factory design pattern. This tool helps radiologists work more efficiently and fairly, directly impacting their daily practice.
Room Scheduling with Ant Colony Optimization
For this assignment, a proof-of-concept mathematical optimization model based on Ant Colony Optimization was developed to automatically generate room allocations within rehabilitation clinics.
The solution accounts for practitioner availability, required facilities, and capacity constraints, replacing error-prone manual planning. By leveraging historical data and decision science techniques, a more efficient and reliable scheduling process was achieved and integrated into the existing HiX environment.
