Where

Our office is based in Voorburg (The Hague). Currently we work remotely and only travel to the offices or Fieldlabs when necessary. Our Fieldlabs are based in really cool places; The Automotive Campus in Helmond, The Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven and the RDM Campus in Rotterdam.

With whom

You will be working together with 5 colleagues as part of the Fieldlab team within the KPN Technology Office. Our team members have a diverse background amongst which; Engineering, (network) Architecture & Innovation management.

Your biggest impact

Connectivity technology and its performance is worthless without users. Your main focus is to build demonstrators together with our customers. Our customers will get inspired by the demonstrators you realize. They will encounter the latest technologies and experience the possible benefits for their businesses.

Your role as...

With your analytical skills you can drill down to the core of the use case and distil a clear set of requirements. You will engineer the demonstrator together with our partners and enable our business teams to showcase them to our customers. You can do this because of: - your communication & collaboration skills, helping you to build up a good working relation with our partners - your technical skills to implement and automate a demonstrator - your interest to learn to work with new technologies - your drive to create tangible results - Your interest in Industry 4.0, working together with our industry partners in the Eindhoven Industry Fieldlab.

What do you bring for us?

Your drive to learn new technology and can-do mentality will help you in this function. We also expect you are currently studying at a technical university or school for applied sciences.

Who are we?

The fieldlab team consists of 5 specialists that are constantly innovating with new technology. We work on new technology, typically between 3 and 5 years before it is offered in services towards our customers. We discover, test and showcase. Write and execute testplans. Create videos to inspire customers. Work with production colleagues to bring technology toward new services.
