Why

The traineeship focuses on personal development. That is why you as a person are central and you look for suitable assignments together with your talent manager. You work on new and innovative projects, where you can make a real impact. You learn a lot from the experienced colleagues and also the responsibility that you already receive as a trainee. You get the space to discover multiple aspects within the IT domain. You follow a special route for this. In addition to all work-related activities, there is also plenty of fun on the program. IT is something that is visible throughout KPN and is used at all locations. At KPN, we still work hybrid, so a nice balance between home and office. Just what you need.

With whom

You are part of the Young talent program, but you also have your own assignment within KPN. There you work together with other young talents, but also with experienced people within the IT field.

Your biggest impact

You make the difference through your energy, enthusiasm and your enormous new business drive. KPN is an innovative company and is always looking for new ideas. You can think along in this and make a major contribution. Contribute to the network of the Netherlands. In recent years, KPN has hired dozens of Young Talents who fulfill functions as architect, software developer, project manager, scrum master, product owner or team lead.

Your role as

As a trainee you enter the organization with a fresh perspective and you can convert your theoretical knowledge into practice. You will have the opportunity to collaborate a lot with other teams within KPN and you will build a large network. Do you feel like taking on new projects in addition to your daily work? Within the Young talent program you get a lot of room for this.

What are you bringing us

As a trainee at KPN you will look for your qualities. During the application process, we look for the best match within KPN. We do ask for an HBO, WO or WO master's degree in, for example, AI, Cyber ​​security, physics or computer science. In addition, you have a maximum of 2 years of work experience. Who are we

KPN's Young Talent Program is a three-year traineeship in which young talents are trained to become top professionals or leaders at KPN. The program offers plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and discover. In three years, the Young Talent gets to know the organization, personal development is central and professional skills are worked on. Within the traineeship, a manager, coach, buddy and trainer are ready to guide you. The program is based on 3 pillars: personal development, professional growth and connection.
